PACS-L members attending the ALA annual conference in New York ...

If you're interested in library and information technology and are
looking for a way to meet other people with similar interests,
consider attending one of these social activities, or the 'Meet LITA'
orientation program. You do not need to be a LITA member to attend
any of these events - consider it your chance to see what LITA can
offer. (LITA is the Library Information and Technology Association,
     a division of ALA.)

     'Meet LITA' program: Sunday 7/7/96 11:30am - 12:30pm
location: New York Hilton, Madison Suite
This is an orientation for LITA members to learn how to get more
involved in LITA, or for prospective members to learn about LITA.

LITA Meals - To register, contact Jane Sessa: jsessa@capcon.net
or drop by the LITA booth in the Exhibits area.
       Sat. 7/6/96 noon The Brooklyn Diner 212 W. 57th
       Sun. 7/7/96 noon Dawat 210 E. 58th St. bet 2nd & 3rd 355-7555
       Mon. 7/8/96 7:00pm Island Spice 402 W. 44th 741-1970

     LITA Happy Hour: Monday 7/8/96 5:00 - 6:30pm

A flyer with directions will be available at the LITA booth or the
LITA table in the ALA Office.

These activities are sponsored by the LITA Membership Committee.
