Anyone still using/buying thick net drop cables? The expensive ones?
(fireproof plenum,teflon transceiver/AUI 15-pin,...)
While I do like cabletron's cheap non-fireproof PVC jacket,
I've grown tired of cabletron's too-stiff-and-ugly plenum jackets.
I know there's better (flexible, lighter colors) stuff out there ...
I realize i'll have to pay ~ $1.75 / ft + $30 for ends...
close to $200 for a 100ft drop cable.
$100 for a 40ft cable. I'd appreciate a good vendor phone#.
