At LISA VI Paul Moriarty presented a problem tracking system called
PITS (Problem and Information Tracking System). This was originally
used my the MIPS Computer Systems Inc, and is now under the control of
the people who acquired MIPS.

The PITS system looks like a very nice system, it has an elm style
front end for assigning/interacting with the problem base. It also
seems to provide much better report generation abilities than queueMH.

The one problem is that it hasn't been publically released. At his talk
Paul stated that he could get it released if he had enough people who
wanted it released.

So I am asking that you send the following letter to Paul Moriarty at

		pmm@cisco.com

  Hi:

  I have seen the PITS system in the LISA VI proceedings and was
  wondering if it was available.

  <your name here>

Thanks for your help. It would be really nice to have a couple of
options for trouble report management out there.
