BayLISA does two things about getting general discussion going. First,
there's a question and announcement period before the meeting. Just
questions, no answers; people get together for the answers afterwards.
Second, we have a reservation for 14 at a nearby restaurant (actually,
we used to just appear with 14 people, and they coped; they still deal
quite well when 20 people show up on the reservation). After the
meeting, people mill around and talk, and when the host cannot stand
it any more, the hard-core survivors go to the restaurant and tell the
system administrator version of sea stories until 1am.
