Hi all,
We have automated the processing of the BBLISA Mailing List
subscriptions, and at the same time, created a separate list
just for BBLISA Announcements.
If you wish to receive all BBLISA mail (discussion and announcements)
you need do nothing.
If you wish to receive ONLY announcements, you should unsubscribe
from the main bblisa@inset.com list, and subscribe instead to
the bblisa-announce@inset.com list.
Messages sent to bblisa@inset.com will go only to that list.
Messages sent to bblisa-announce@inset.com will go to both the
announce list, and the main list.
This has been done in response to quite a lot of requests asking
for this change.
To change your subscription status, send a message to the list
server, using the address bblisa-request@inset.com, ot
bblisa-announce-request@inset.com. In the text portion of the
message, use any of these:
help to get more help on doing this
subscribe to join this list
unsubscribe to un-join this list
quit to quit from server (e.g., before .sig lines)
Note, again, you do NOT need to be on both discussion and announcement
lists - all announcement messages will appear on the discussion list,
too.
Also note that several organizations operate local list forwarders
for BBLISA. These will continue to work, and you should contact
the appropriate administrator for changes to the forwarder. However,
these were put in place to reduce the volume of work administering
the main list. Now that this is automated, we'll think about
recombining all the lists - but that'll be at a later date.
Enjoy...
