Assistant Technical Staff, UNIX System Operator/System Administrator
Mei Technology Corporation is seeking a computer professional for work in an operational research environment providing heterogeneous UNIX system support. Successful candidates will possess a B.S. and one year experience or an A.B. and three to five years experience. Experience with all aspects of computer operations and basic system administration is required. Additionally, the following specific experience is required; Sun workstation and SunOS, Bourne and C shell programming, basic C programming, and NIS and NFS networking. Familiarity with at least one of the following UNIX systems is desirable: Hewlett Packard, Digital Equipment Corp, Silicon Graphics, and the Next system. Familiarity with a scientific software package such as PV-Wave or IDL is also desirable.
