I would think that storage as text is much more space-efficient than
storage as ink. Of course, I am also one of the lucky few who _do_
write every word neatly. If Newton can't deal with my handwriting it
will have real trouble with the rest of the world!
It would be nice if Newton, at least, does not force you to wait for
its conversion before you continue writing. Maybe it could leave
confusing items as ink until you are done with the meeting, and then
you could go clear up the ambiguous scribbles it did not understand.
