My take on the MacWorld release of the MessagePad was that it wasn't a
'real' release, but rather was a quick shipment of something which doesn't
have any fatal bugs in order to get MessagePads into enthusiasts' hands,
and that the September 11th "North American Release" will be where things
come together -- the handwriting bug should be fixed, the developer program
should be worked out, Apple Online Services will be better defined, the
pager system will be in place, and so on.
