Hi,
I know that the big roll-out is planned for MacWorld in Boston, 3-5
August (Tues.-Thurs.), but what's the deal with the billboard on the
SE Distressway saying something like "NEWTON...Taking Orders NOW."?
Who's taking orders? I've called ComputerCity (who will have them at
MacWorld) and the MIT Microcomputer Center (our Apple source), and they
don't know anything about orders yet. MIT MCC _thought_ they might be
taking orders starting 30 July, but they seemed kind of iffy.
What's the deal? Is this real or yet another Apple "Stupid Marketing
Trick (TM)"?
