The following parody was floating around campus.
If you haven't seen the "Walkout Against War" spam, you probably won't
get it.

>Dear MIT Sheep,
>
>Tomorrow, Thursday, at 11:30 am, MIT will Walk Out Against <Insert Trendy
>Political Cause Here>.
>
>All members of the MIT community-- faculty, staff, students, guests and
>others-- are invited to participate. Those who don't do exactly as we say
>are Wrong, and therefore not part of the community.
>
>At 11:30 tomorrow, put down what you are doing. Stand up and bitch loudly,
>letting those around you (in class, at work, on the street)
>know how much cooler and more important you are than them.
>Self-righteously insist that people you pass join you as you
>walk to the Student Center.
>
>We will gather there until around 2:30 to hear music, congratulate each
>other on being Right, and make signs that oversimplify the issue and
>create an environment of hostility and antagonism that precludes rational
>discourse.
>
>Later, we will join other whiny students from Harvard, and we will loiter.
>
>Until 11:30 tomorrow, please let everyone else know what you will be doing
>and how cool it is.
>
>Walkout at 11:30. Gather mindless followers. Student Center at 12.
>
>Whatever your role or position tomorrow, stay firm and don't shirk away
>from confrontation.
>Make your opinion heard over all others. We are not here to argue with
>each other. We are here to make sure no one can argue with us.
>
>If you have people working for you, make sure they do the Right Thing.
>Chancellor Clay
>has already advised that our (and only our) First Amendment rights must be
>protected. Staff and
>student absences tomorrow should be fully excused and tests should be
>cancelled (protesters receiving full credit). Harrassment and intimidation
>will not be tolerated, unless you're on our side.
>
>This is a one-time spam being sent to all members of the MIT community.
