At the entrace to my office cluster there's a door with a security key
pad, and yesterday someone posted a note beside it:
~~~~~~~~
Due to recent attempts to break the security code an additional level
of security has been added. From 1 April, you have to enter a voice
code in addition to the usual keypad code. The voice code is a word
or sentence which the system uses to recognize you. It is individual
and you have to record it before using it. Follow the instructions
below.
Entering A New Voice Code:
1. Press *22* on the keypad.
2. Enter your voice code. Speak into the hidden microphone on top of
the keypad. Talk with a normal and clear voice. Do not enter a code
longer than 5 seconds.
3. After entering your personal voice code press * on the keypad.
Using Your Voice Code
1. Press * on the keypad.
2. Enter your voice code. Remember to talk into the microphone.
3. Press * again followed by the normal code.
~~~~~~~~
Although I didn't see anyone talking to the wall, several were looking
for the microphone.
