It seems that on the day the Grad Student finally got his Ph.D., the Devil
stopped by for a visit.
"I'll make a deal with you," says the devil. "I'll give you tenure at the
school of your choice, a Nobel prize and the respect and admiration of your
peers. But your children won't recognize you, you'll lose all of your friends
and your wife will divorce you."
"OK," says the Grad. "So what's the catch?"
