This is everyone's second warning:
NO CHAIN LETTERS.
NO FOLLOWUPS TO CHAIN LETTERS.
NO "PLEASE DON'T POST CHAIN LETTERS" MESSAGES.
NO *ANYTHING* INVOLVING CHAIN LETTERS.
This is *my* *personal* mailing list, for myself and friends that share
the same sense of humor. Everyone else on it is there on my sufference.
As long as other people's posts have merit, I don't object when they post.
This is the second time in the recent past that a chain letter has appeared
on the list, along with the requisite followup posts. If the chain letters,
followups to chain letters, and other annoying posts happen again, I'll make
the list private. This has two effects:
1) no one can post without going through me (I'm working on a Ph.D. - I
*don't* need the extra work).
2) no one gets on or off the list without my say so. Again, I don't need
the extra work.
All we need is a little good will and some common sense. C'mon, folks!
Sorry to be a grump. back to our regularly scheduled humor.
