Hi Guys,
It seems that I have installed and started the arla and
kerberose successfully. But when I run the arla to read the
file I get the permission denied. The following is what I
have done:
First to run the arlad I input the following:
iceaxe# /usr/arla/bin/mount_xfs /dev/xfs0 /arla
iceaxe# /usr/arla/bin/arlad
Then I typed the following:
iceaxe# cd /usr/athena/bin
iceaxe# ./kauth wwshen@UMICH.EDU
wwshen@UMICH.EDU's Password:
kerberos-iv/* unknown service, using default port 750
iceaxe# cd /arla/umich.edu/user/w/w/wwshen
iceaxe# ls -l
ls: .Xauthority: Permission denied
ls: .addressbook: Permission denied
ls: .addressbook.lu: Permission denied
ls: .pine-debug1: Permission denied
ls: .pine-debug2: Permission denied
ls: .pine-debug3: Permission denied
....
iceaxe# ./klist
