Did you use the startarla script? If not, did you mount /afs before
the arlad daemon was started? When arlad is started after /afs is
mounted, /afs will appear empty as long as noone tries to access a
file in it. Try "ls /afs/stacken.kth.se" when /afs seems empty.

This should not have anything to do with your problem. Of course, it's
a bug, it should not complain about the file's nonexistance. We'll
look into that.
