I don't think so. And either way I think bug reports (or patches) do help.
Do we have any subscribers who are familiar with the demands and policies
of the ports system?
Btw, Debian's (ancient) arla package was removed a few days ago, it's been
neglected for too long. Maybe it's time to submit a new, working version.
