I saw that something was broken last time I tried modern NetBSD, but I'm
afraid I won't be able to track NetBSD development myself. Patches are
welcome.

Not that I know of.

You tell me :)

What's the drill, have people looked at it?

>From our side, we'd like to finish some major changes to nnpfs and let
things settle down before we try to merge anything. Maybe one should think
about the nnpfs interface and add a more fine grained way of sending
version or feature support info. An nnpfs testing kit with a dummy daemon
and a simulated user would be useful, contributions are appreciated.
