Seems to me that DFS is a bit complicated and a linux port probably
isn't going
to happen anytime soon in the Open Source community short of a major
miracle.
That said at least transarc has a Linux AFS client, makes you wonder how
much clammoring at their door it would take to get a DFS client as well
for
linux.
Additionally given a choice between AFS and DFS, I must admit my
preference is
for AFS. To me AFS seems faster, and easier to use. I've heard that DFS
is much
easier on SysAdmins but that's only 2nd hand knowledge....
