i'm presently hacking up a version of xdm to work with arla, and i
seem to be running into problems with k_setpag. it doesn't seem to work
correctly with the arla client. it seems odd that this is the case since
it is basically just a syscall. has anyone else used k_setpag to
interface with arla?

and while i'm on the subject, i'm currently hacking a lot of pts
junk to make our weird authentication scheme here at the university of
michigan work with arla, and i was wondering if some of the pts functions
will be included in a library in a later release? if not, i would be
willing to make one myself and contribute it if there's interest.
