This machine allows you to take cards across your building and is known as
a Portable and it sends details with the hand set and base unit which then
uses Ethernet or Phone connectivity.

It is the sort of machine which is mostly used by Cafes or Bistros and they
need this type of machine because they must allow people to use card whilst
either eating at tables or whilst leaving, however, it can be used for
other purposes.

This sort is typically used by persons who must take cards on the go and is
referred to as a Mobile, this only needs a network connection. This can be
used anywhere out and around where there is a signal so you can take card
throughout the UK and you will not need a landline.

Last but not least is the Static which is for persons who need to take
cards in a defined area using a power point and an Internet or phone
connection. http://gafot.com/link.php?M=2522093&N=54&L=3&F=T
