has stood up against the disproportionately poor physical health conditions=
in Indian Country. The premier diagnostics laboratory has expertise in sub=
stance abuse urine drug testing and soon will offer health and wellness blo=
od testing. The start-up supports healthcare providers by providing tailore=
d information to help prevent, monitor, and treat disease. Chief Executive =
Officer, Cory Littlepage, enrolled member of the Chickasaw Nation, saw the =
need for diagnostic testing services in Indian Country. By securing funding=
, constructing a new laboratory
facility, and meeting all regulatory requirements, he opened Tribal Diagnos=
tics in Oklahoma City. Littlepage assembled a winning team that is 75% Nati=
ve American and brings innovative operational, tribal, and scientific exper=
tise to native healthcare. Through partnerships with physicians, clinics, a=
nd hospitals, he successfully provides high volume and specialized laborato=
ry testing services to native people. "We built a business around solving a=
moral problem; which are the health outcomes of our people in Indian Count=
ry," said Littlepage. "Since almost all medical decisions are based on the =
result of a laboratory test, building a medical laboratory was the perfect =
place to start." For his entrepreneurial enterprise, Littlepage was one of =
National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development's prestigious '4=
0 Under 40' award recipient at the Reservation Economic Summit =C3=A2=E2=82=
=AC=E2=80=9C New Mexico. He was recognized as an emerging American Indian p=
erson to demonstrate leadership,
initiative, and dedication, making significant contributions in business an=
d community. Tribal Diagnostics was also named the 2016 'Minority Start-Up =
of the Year' by REI Oklahoma's Native American Business Centers. "It is an =
unbelievable honor to be recognized by both REI and NCAIED and validating t=
hat what we are doing is right," explained Littlepage. "We also have an out=
standing team who are passionate about our Mission. These awards are a test=
ament to them." The start-up found its niche in the market because of the O=
pioid abuse epidemic facing native nations and because treating pain is not=
easy. Health and wellness blood testing services help healthcare providers=
and patients understand what is going on inside their body at a metabolic =
level and establish a health and wellness baseline. Dawn Coley, an enrolled=
member of the Penobscot Nation, is the Director of Tribal Relations. Ms. C=
oley has worked for over 30 years in Health Care Administration and has ope=
rated an
Occupational Health Clinic. She is passionate about fighting prescription d=
rug abuse and providing culturally appropriate services. "American Indians =
and Alaska Natives need to be provided more education on the Opioid Abuse E=
pidemic in Indian Country and we know Indian County," said Coley. "Whether =
it is a Tribal business or Indian Organization, our people deserve to be se=
rved by culturally sensitive professionals. That's us." Coley added that Tr=
ibal Diagnostics is "sensitive to the cost of healthcare in Indian Country =
and partners with Tribes to find cost effective ways to implement their Tri=
bal health systems. Tribal Diagnostics looks at the whole picture for treat=
ment outcomes and ensures that Tribal members can afford follow up treatmen=
t if pay out-of-pocket costs." Tribal Diagnostics cites that 20% of Tribal =
members live in fair or poor health and native people have long experienced=
lower health and life expectancy. They hold disproportionate disease burde=
n compared to
other Americans because of inadequate education, disproportionate poverty, =
discrimination in the delivery of health services, and cultural differences=

health and wellness blood testing. The start-up supports healthcare provide=
rs by providing tailored information to help prevent, monitor, and treat di=
sease. Chief Executive Officer, Cory Littlepage, enrolled member of the Chi=
ckasaw Nation, saw the need for diagnostic testing services in Indian Count=
ry. By securing funding, constructing a new laboratory facility, and meetin=
g all regulatory requirements, he opened Tribal Diagnostics in Oklahoma Cit=
y. Littlepage assembled a winning team that is 75% Native American and brin=
gs innovative operational, tribal, and scientific expertise to native healt=
hcare. Through partnerships with physicians, clinics, and hospitals, he suc=
cessfully provides high volume and specialized laboratory testing services =

l members live in fair or poor health and native people have long experienc=

den compared to other Americans because of inadequate education, disproport=
