We experienced so many wonderful things at the Union House, I hardly know where to start. ....So I'll start by saying that the Union House clearly deserves... One of the best fish fry meals I've ever had!! Everything was fantastic-the appetizer (which sounded weird but was excellent) homemade chips with vinegar,... Been there a couple times and the service was marginal. Today it was exceptional. The food was fantastic and would highly recommend the chicken alligator.... Second time here. The first was on a weeknight. Great bartenders. I had the spinach artichoke burger. Very good. The meat they use is great. Small... The wife and I stopped off for dinner on our way up north. The atmosphere was casual, quiet and representative of a quaint Irish pub with typical fare. She... Foodie alert! The cuisine here rocks. This is not your typical chips and salsa Mexican restaurant. To say this place is in the middle of nowhere would be an understatement.....Although in my experience the best places are usually found off the beaten path... Excellent waitress, food and drinks!! The special of day, smoked brisket on bed of mac and cheese was amazing!!! The waitress did not lie, it was the best!... I feel this is the best Rosatis in the surrounding area. Try the Chicago style pizza. I've been coming here for over 2 years now since I 1st moved to Maryville. ....This is a Greek/American/Steak/Sports Bar/Family Restaurant with a classic... Big and nice and new! ..The \" old \" Ice House' was across town , and had a tradition if great food ...But the new building ... WOW !.. Great for large groups... Stopped in here while in town for the marathon. Our waitress Crissy was super nice and a great waitress. Ate dinner and I had the Mexican plate which was... I've never been to a Pizza Ranch before...I Have been to plenty of Pizza Buffets from Here to California \u0026 none have ever left an \"OMGosh! I've got to go!\"... We were just here to do RAGBRI (the bicycle ride across Iowa) and stopped in for dinner. We are so glad we did. The line was long because of 10,000 bike... Hidden gem! Very quick, clean, and tasty. It's been a while since I visited Hamlin, IA, home of the \"best breaded pork tenderloin (BPT) in Iowa\", so my vision could be a little cloudy. I will go out... The cheddar chips were excellent and the Hail Mary burger concept awesome. The hail Mary included artichoke dip on the burger. I would go for 5 stars... Great Place.
