I brought a rowdy group of Chinese foreign exchange students here for pizza after a thunderstorm cancelled a local baseball game. Upon pulling in, we didn't... Always wanted to have lunch or dinner here. My physical therapist who lives near the restaurant kept recommending this place. So I decided to try lunch... This has become our go to place since moving to East Haddam. I have to say though we really have not ventured too far beyond the pizza and the occasional... I stopped off here with a friend while we we driving through town. We were warmly greeted by Harry and Mark. You could definitely tell they took pride in... I have driven by this restaurant at least twice a week for months, had it bookmarked, I've literally been dying to come here and try the food. I walked in... Great visit to Parkers today after going to the SAC Museum. We had rib tips, brisket sandwiches, and lots of different sides. All were great. Our waitress... Worth the drive from Omaha. We had grilled chicken nachos, blackened chicken alfredo pasta, molten lava cake and a bottle of moscato wine. Glad to report... The first thing I noticed was how clean and well lit the place was. My family has been going there for three generations. The chicken buffalo and Swiss mushroom were excellent. Service was excellent as well. Small towns still produce the best meals. We'll be back to this one as... This cafe is rich in history and you can taste it in the food. Worth the drive and friendly atmosphere. Good eggs. Good bacon. Good coffee. For a breakfast place, those are my prerequisites to earn a five star. Wigwam hits all three! I've always been a fan of Cracker Barrel and I probably always will be.
