My husband and I make day trips to Decorah from La Crosse just to have lunch here. It is the only restaurant we really make a trip to enjoy. We love to eat... Chip appetizer with trio sauce - Great but need more chips. ..Tomato basil artichoke feta soup - phenom. ..Bread - spectacular with herbs and Parmesan.... It is hard to find decent Mexican food in the area. This place is so good that I will likely make the hour drive back again soon!! I've been to numerous bbq joints in Tennessee, the Carolinas and Kansas City, and in my opinion, Old Armory is just as good as any of those! And in... Sunday brunch was fantastic, pizza from the wood fired pizza lived up to its great reputation. Pie. Yum...Didn't try the prime rib. Probably should have.
