It is not surprising that this fixture of DC Americana is able to maintain a solid four out of five star rating with over eighty four hundred Yelp... Classic and just great.....Over the years I've come back and it has been just great.....Sunday brunch... when it's a special occasion or making a special visit... Great little peruvian place. The servers are all so friendly (maybe because my mom is a regular). Anyway, the food is solid - warm bread with the spicy... This is one of DC's best kept secret! Off The Record is just a couple blocks from the White House and suited in the basement of Hay-Adams Hotel. If you like... Please don't come here thinking you're coming to Joe's Crab Shack.. Boy you will be in for a very rude awakening, this couldn't be further from that shack!... Kellari Taverna is the sum of Farragut Square's parts: efficient, classy, and nothing short of excellent. (Note I am not referring to the way the area... I stopped here on a road trip and it was sooo good! ....The service and our waitress Ashley was amazing! ....For the small plates: Alabama fried oysters, the... Very impressed with this place for a downtown lunch. Great location, excellent ambiance, good food and service, truly well established. ....Came here for... The Mobile Area's Best Fine Dining Restaurant. ....I've taken both clients and family to NoJa, and I've never had anything less than a phenomenal meal.... Fantastic place! Fabulous food, great service and nice ambiance! ..Food - absolute must get - the Brussel Sprouts (I know, right!) and the fried green tomato... A return visit for me after a long hiatus. We split a dozen premium chargrilled local oysters ($3 up charge), a fried crab claw basket and a redfish... When we told our server we had an allergy at the table, the manager came and asked several questions to be sure she understood the issue and could instruct... We really enjoying stopping here for lunch enroute to our condo in Orange Beach..Great place for kiddos, solid menu selections..We always order a cup of crab... The lamb is a must. It is one of the best that I have eaten. I would compare it to Raymond in Newfoundland. Great experience! Had the Lionfish special with Dauphin sauce and the chestnut risotto ! Yum!
