Compliment of the season. Hopefully, this very confidential request should come to you as a surprise. I am Mr.Fidelis Kwadai and a worker in the ministry of works in the Republic of Gambia. I was also the secretary of Contract Awarding Committee of this ministry between 1999 and 2002.During this period, we awarded some contracts mainly to foreign firms because of their HI-TECH.
We the committee members intentionally over invoiced the contracts to the tune of US$22M(Twenty two million United States Dollars) for our personal use. We verified that all the contracts awarded by my committee have been approved and full payments made to the various contractors, leaving behind the over invoiced funds.
Through our diligent efforts, this APPROVED fund is now lifted to Europe via a diplomatic carriage.I am now in Europe to scout for a reliable person/company who will assist us in this regard.
The scheme is to present you as a foreign Contractor beneficiary of the fund in order to claim it for us from the company where it is deposited in Europe. For your information, as civil servants,Gambian law prohibits us from operating foreign accounts. This is the reason why we need your genuine assistance. When this fund is in your possession, it is also our intention to invest it in any flourishing company under your advice and guidance.
Please if it is your wish and within your capability to assist us, acknowledge the receipt of this mail through this email address so that we can discuss in details the modalities of your cooperation and negotiate the REWARDS/COMPENSATION for your services. However, such rewards/compensation must be from this US$22M. Actually, we have not known our selves before this project that demands absolute TRUST erupted, but it is my prayer that we hold ourselves in total confidence and work towards the success of this project at the earliest possible time.
