This undated photo, provided by the family, shows 28-year-old Timothy Davison.Timothy
Davison, left, is pictured in this undated photo provided by his family.A
month after their son was run off a Pennsylvania highway and shot
to death, the parents of Timothy Davison remain desperate for answers and
longing to know the 28-year-old's last words to a 911 dispatcher.Davison,
of Poland, Maine, was making the 1,400-mile trip home along Interstate 81
on Jan. 4 after spending the holidays with family members in Orlando,
Fla., when the other driver began tailgating him. Davison lost contact with
a Maryland 911 dispatcher as he crossed into Pennsylvania, then called back
to say he was being shot at, according to police."I dont want
to hear my sons voice -- that's too painful -- but I
do want to read that transcript," the dead man's father, Timothy Davison,
said. "Ive got no answers."Davison was found dead inside his SUV, which
was stuck in a snowbank in the median near Antrim Township in
southern Pennsylvania.- Timothy Davison, father of man killed along Pennsylvania
highwayInvestigators said they believe the killer rammed his pickup truck
into Davison's silver Mitsubishi Montero SUV, forcing it into a the snow-covered
median, where it became stuck. The driver then got out of his
vehicle and shot a couple rounds into the car, striking and killing
Davison, police said.Theresa Allocca said her son was a "very experienced
driver," who was operating
nnel 5 television. "Thank God, I am alive."Bulatov's
face and clothes were covered in clotted blood, his hands were swollen
and bore the marks of nails.Opposition leader Petro Poroshenko rushed to
the hospital where Bulatov was taken Thursday night."Dmytro asked to pass
his greetings to everyone and to say that he has not been
broken and will not be broken," a grim-looking Poroshenko told Channel 5.
"That he is full of energy and despite the fact that his
body has been beaten, Dmytro's spirit is strong."Police said the car he
was driving when he disappeared had been found.Bulatov had been missing
for eight days, and the protesters organized a campaign for his release.
They pleaded with top government officials for assistance, offered a $25,000
bounty to anyone who could help locate him and even consulted psychics,
said Oleksiy Hrytsenko, Bulatov's friend and fellow activist.Hrytsenko said
Automaidan members had come under tremendous pressure during the protests,
with their cars burnt and activists detained, harassed and threatened. He
showed an Associated Press reporter a text message he had received from
an unknown number that read: "Go ahead, go ahead, your mother will
be happy to see her son dead."The AP was not immediately able
to interview Bulatov. He is among three activists whose disappearances have
shocked the country, especially after one of them was found dead.Bulatov
went missing one day after Igor Lutsenko, another prominent

<p style="font-size:xx-small;"> to get
out of the ditch overnight."The weeklong negotiations had been strained
over issues such as the opposition's demand for -- and the government's
resistance to -- a transfer of power in Syria. The talks have
so far failed to achieve any concrete results, including the passage of
humanitarian aid convoys to besieged parts of the central city of Homs. The
fact that the negotiations -- aimed at ending the three-year civil war
that has killed more than 130,000 people -- continued for the entire
week was seen by many as an encouraging start. But the two
sides continue to blame each other for the violence in Syria and
remain deeply divided over how to end the war and if Syria's
future government should include President Bashar Assad. On Thursday, Syrian
negotiators observed a minute of silence to honor the tens of thousands
of people who have died in a rare moment of unity. The opposition
is demanding a transitional governing body with full executive powers and
wants Assad to step down. The government delegation says that's a nonstarter
and has insisted that the talks focus first on ending the violence.Opposition
spokesman Louay Safi insisted Friday that a transitional governing body
is the only way forward."The regime clearly doesn't want a political solution,
doesn't want to move a step forward to end the Syrian suffering,"
Safi said. "We will not be sitting here endlessly. There will come
a point when it will be clear if the regime is

to the media after a hearing before Summit County Common Pleas Court
Judge Mary Margaret Rowlands in Akron, Ohio.Michael Chritton/APAKRON, Ohio
Charges were dismissed Thursday against a northeast Ohio man who served
about 20 years in prison for a 1993 killing but maintained his
innocence.A judge ordered a new trial last year for Dewey Jones of
Akron after tests showed his DNA didn't match evidence at the scene.Prosecutors
filed to dismiss the charges, noting that witnesses have died and evidence
has degraded."We basically looked at the case as it stands today and
determined that we didn't think that we could, for the second time,
prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt," said Jill Del Greco, a
spokeswoman for the Ohio attorney general's office.Jones told WEWS-TV he
felt overwhelmed and said he knew such a day would come."I just
never thought it would take this long," said Jones, 51. "The truth
is the truth, and it always comes out."Until late last year, Jones
was imprisoned for the robbery and slaying of 71-year-old Neal Rankin, a
Goodyear retiree who Jones said was a family friend. Jones said he
wasn't involved in the killing and had no knowledge about it."I sure
would like to know who I did 20 years for," he told
WEWS. "I wish I knew what the whole truth was."The judge hasn't
decided whether to dismiss the charges with or without prejudice, the latter
of which w
