TEHRAN, Iran Iran's foreign minister says Washington's "wishes are unlikely
to come true" at upcoming talks between the Islamic Republic and world
powers over its nuclear program.Mohammad Javad Zarif said at a Wednesday
news conference in Tehran that the U.S. wanted Iran to give up
major parts of its program, but "those wishes are unlikely to come
true and that's why they are negotiating with the Islamic Republic of
Iran to achieve a solution based on realities."Iran stopped enrichment of
uranium to 20 percent and started neutralizing its stockpile on Jan. 20
in order to fulfil commitments reached under an interim deal in Geneva
on Nov. 24. Negotiations over a final comprehensive deal are to start
Feb. 18.Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has been criticized by hard-liners
who say he made too many concessions in return for too little.
Israeli settlers live
in the West Bank and east Jerusalem. The Palestinians want to establish
a state in those territories as well as the Gaza Strip, all
captured by Israel in 1967.Tzipi Livni, the chief Israeli negotiator, told
Israel Radio on Wednesday that some members of the governing coalition are
opposed to any kind of peace agreement and that recent verbal attacks
on Kerry by hardliners are "shocking.""Ministers and others are speaking
in a way that upset me as an Israeli," said Livni. "There
are people who don't want to reach an agreement. They don't care
what Kerry will present."Israel's coalition is divided on the peace talks,
with Livni and others pushing for a deal while hawkish ministers oppose
any agreement based on Kerry's anticipated outlines.Kerry is expected to
present a framework to guide the remainder of the talks, featuring his
vision of a final peace deal. While Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas signaled
flexibility in recent comments, a number of Israeli ministers have voiced
hostility to Kerry's peacemaking efforts.Pro-settler minister Naftali Bennett
threatened Tuesday to bolt the coalition if his party deems Kerry's proposal
unacceptable."I told the prime minister, present a document and then we
will judge. If this thing does not meet our values, we won't
be in the government," Bennett was quoted as saying.Earlier in the week,
Israeli media quoted Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon as saying if Israel doesn't

<p style="font-size:xx-small;">," Bradshaw said.That's when a sergeant
fired three times, once to the torso and twice on the lower
part of the body. The man was taken to Delray Medical Center,
where he died. The injured police officer and the teen were also taken
to the hospital. Their conditions were not available. Bradshaw said the
10-year-old boy injured himself trying to go under the gate to get
away from the man.The sheriff said investigators are trying to figure out
the man's identity and to get some background information on about him.Bradshaw
said the man was "obviously on some kind of narcotics to act
like this.""The deputies had to do what they had to do to
disable this guy so he didn't get into this gated community and
wreak havoc in there," Bradshaw said. The incident is reminiscent of a 2012
attack in Miami in which a naked man attacked a homeless man
and chewed off much of his face. The man, Rudy Eugene, was
shot and killed by a Miami police officer. Witnesses said he had
been swinging from a light pole minutes before the attack. Lab tests
found only marijuana in his system. The victim in the Miami attack, Ronald
Poppo, lost his left eye, his nose and most of the surrounding
skin.

StonePETERSBURG, Ky. True to his passionate and animated TV persona, "Science
Guy" Bill Nye tapped on the podium, threw up his hands and
noted that science shows the Earth is "billions and billions" of years
old in a debate at a Kentucky museum known for teaching that
the planet's age is only 6,000.Nye was debating Creation Museum founder
Ken Ham and promoting science in the snappy way that made him
a pop culture staple as host of "Bill Nye The Science Guy"
in the 1990s.The event was meant to explore the age old question,
"How did we get here?" from the perspectives of faith and science.Ham,
an Australian native who has built a thriving ministry in Kentucky, said
he trusts the story of creation presented by the Bible."The Bible is
the word of God," Ham said. "I admit that's where I start
from."- Ken Ham, founder of the Creation MuseumNye delivered a passionate
