I've been reading this newsgroup mainly to read the FAQ postings
to pick up tips and techniques, and forgot that the FAQ is shipped
with Perl. It makes sense for the FAQ to document the version
of Perl it comes with. Now and then FAQ extries posted here will
describe techniques I can't use. I'll cope.
