Yes, but the Google is answering the question, not the question itself.
As I understand it, a "Self Answering Question" itself must hold the=20
answer, like "How can I find the index of a substring with a string?" As =

it would be difficult to formulate a question which contained "CPAN",=20
the closest one could get would be a question containing the words=20
"comprehensive", "perl", "archive", and "network": eg "Where can I find=20
a comprehensive perl archive on the network".
And the OP's question already contained two out of four.

Just a nitpick:

The question is answered by typing

perldoc -q module

not a Google query.

OK, so I give up. I'll consider this a SAQ in spirit.

Sorry, I missed that part ("perldoc -q module").

I agree.

Subject: XS - Variable creation
Message-Id: <1140019162.239592@proxy.dienste.wien.at>

Hi perl-folk,

given a scalar value in XS code, I want to make this value visible from Perl
Scripts
(I want to create a scalar variable) in a (perhaps not-yet-existent) name
space. Is
there a function for this? Or do I have to create to required data
structures (stash
entries, globs) by hand?

I havn't found anything in perlxs & perlxstut about this. Some other ideas
where
to look?

MTIA for your answer, and kind greetings,

BTW: this is Perl 5.005. Not the newest, I know,...
