Well my baasic point is that you should focus on learning what normal
means on MacOSX Tiger, and not bother learning a what was normal on the
older system 9.

To that end, I've just ordered two Unix books, including "Learning Unix
for Mac OS X Tiger" (an O'Reilly Publication) by Dave Taylor.
Any relation? :-D

Well, there must have been a first Taylor at some point in distant
history, so in theory yes, but I could just as easily be more closely

pads with spaces; reading a line strips trailing spaces and inserts a
