telnet breakage

After rebuilding the Athena telnetd, I discovered that a number of
changes I made to sys_term.c and pathnames.h so that they would use
"/usr/bin/login" instead of "/bin/login" were completely gone. Derek
has also complained (a while ago) that his fixes for the encryption
bugs also seemed to have disappeared at some point (probably at the
same time).

I could be wrong about this, but it looks like jhawk imported a new
source tree from the telnet locker without merging in our changes. I
don't remember getting any mail about this. Can people please be more
careful about losing changes in our source trees in the future?
