Sorry.  Sal's right.  I thought that was the case and had checked but
confused.  My fault.  On keesh, /usr/athena is a symlink to
/u1/athena.  It may be relevant that /usr/vice is a symlink to
/u1/vice.  (In other words they are on the same partition).  I lost
files on a separate partition from the afs cache, but the corruption
may have happened while the afs cache was still on the partition.
Problems do not show up until fsck or fsck -f is run and this may have
been the first time I've fun fsck since before I moved the cache.
