The other day I was logged into steve, and keesh rebooted (hung, and
was rebooted?). The person looking at it (no, I don't remember who it
was) noted that there were a lot of fsck errors. This may or may not
be related to the missing files, or the 7.7 patch release escaping on
the sun, or Saturn's rings; with varying degrees of likeliness. Sorry
this wasn't more helpful.
