Well, the point that I didn't want to get lost is that there's nothing
preventing us from making our own motif shared library, and distributing
it to MIT students. That will make programs like mwm and the on-line
student information service program (which also uses Motif) a lot less
painful, at least in terms of disk space usage and memory usage. Of
course, actual GUI still sucks rocks. :-)
