I doubt that people intentionally sent mail to eichin@quiche-lorraine.
Right now, it's still set up so that, when sending mail from quiche,
if you just give a username without "@somewhere", rather than
defaulting to username@mit, it defaults to username@quiche.

It probably happens quite often that somebody not familiar with the
more broken parts of Linux logs in to quiche and sends mail to
"joeuser" and "joe-mailing-list" and never even finds out that the
mail didn't go through.

Sadly, there are several mailboxes that have been created in
/var/spool/mail, probably all accidentally.

This is clearly a bug and should be fixed.
