This is not a bug in attach. It may be a bug in aklog, but it really
looks like a bug in the afs-nfs translator.
Is your UID on your linux box the same as your Athena uid?
Do you have /etc/athena/afs-nfs-host set to the same host as
you NFS mount /afs?
