I managed to find the bug in zhm.  In responding to a SIGHUP, it was
forgetting to increment a variable and infinite looping.  It was a
rather huge, obvious bug that would crash on any system.

It might have been a bad idea to base parts of linux-dev on
"bleeding-edge" sources - that bug just happened to be there on the
day I copied the zephyr source tree from the zephyr locker to our
source tree.  The zephyr source in /source was pre-that-bug, and the
source currently in the zephyr locker has already been fixed.  (A couple
of other little things had also been changed, so I just copied zhm.c
from the zephyr locker to the linux-athena source tree.)  It seems to
work now.

I'll install the new zhm and reactivate on both of our Linux boxes,
and make new zephyr and reactivate packages, which will be available
later tonight.
