I should probably hack "detach" so it will detach lockers that are not
actually mounted. Maybe later.
I recently submitted a bug report about this happening under Solaris,
so if you do a fix, submit it to bugs, and if you feel lame, re-report
it and wait for Craig to fix it. :-)
