A few problems

Warlord asked that I write to this address and report any problems with
the Athena utilities for Linux. I'm going through everything one by one
now and will try to detail anything I run into. :)

OLC- olc returns this response:
al/usr/athena/bin> olc
Unable to get name of OLC server host from the Hesiod nameserver.
This means that you cannot use OLC at this time. Any problems
you may be experiencing with your workstation may be the result of this
problem.

I'm not sure what it's trying to read from Hesiod, but I do get this:
al/usr/athena/bin> hesinfo olc sloc
VS-2.IASTATE.EDU

If however I do "setenv HES_DOMAIN .iastate.edu" then it works just fine.

MOIRA- Moira doesn't seem to want to use the iastate moira server.
al/usr/athena/bin> moira
moira: Cannot find you in the database, access will be restricted

If I specify the server to use on the command line,
eg "moira -db moira.vincent.iastate.edu" then things seem to work normally.
One interesting thing happens though. If I select the "user" menu and then
select "1. (login)" and enter my own login name, this happens:
Command: 1
Show user information by login name
Desired login name: jcgreen
moira: Unknown query handle when attempting to get_user_account_by_login.

Is it possible that Moira just works differently between MIT and ISU?

That's all I've found for now. I'll let y'all know if I dig up anything else.
:)
