prototype_tmpuser should contain the default dotfiles for that
platform (these can vary from platform to platform, although on
current-athena, I believe only the RS6k does differ), modified to deal
with temporary homedirs (i.e. homedir not available). I imagine these
will be wuite different for CATS users, so you may want to roll your
own (for example, does your mail system have an option to leave mail
on the PO?)
