Hello,
I'm trying to use the linux installer CD image from
/mit/bootkit/rhlinux dated 7/28/2003. But the system
halts while uncompressing linux. I've burned two
CDs and both seem to have correctly copied the image
cksum athena.iso and /dev/cdrom (with the CD in it)
produce the same results.
The exact error messages is:
Uncompressing Linux ...
crc error
-- System halted.
I've tried two different PCs, one with a known-to-work
CD-ROM with the same result.
Any ideas?
