I have an HP vectra VL400 with a 3Com 3c905c on-board NIC.
The IS install sez:
Loading linux/single... XXXX
and then hangs requiring a power cycle to restart.
I've just this minute cut a SIPB install floppy, and am successfully
installing.
QUESTION:
Were the changes to accomodate the broader range of 3c905c cards rolled
out to the default SIPB install floppy and second stage image?
(If so, no mention was made in the linux-dev list that I could find in
the Discuss archive.)
