I have done 'kinit jjprior'. I can "inc" my mail so I assume I have at
least some valid tickets. If I type klist I get:

Ticket file: /tmp/tkt421
Principal: jjprior@ATHENA.MIT.EDU

  Issued Expires Principal

It would be useful to receive some mail directly (e.g. junk mail from
some mailing lists) to a different local account. Also, until you have
everything configured right some reply mail comes in directly instead of
to mit.edu (e.g. your message).
