hum, I've thought about the post install stuff, and I don't see what
the second stage installer is doing with a modules.cgz, or why it
would matter. the install disk has the correct modules, and I assume
the machine end's up with a kernel and modules from rpm. so what's the
point of the modules.cgz, and how does adding a driver to it help us?
it seems like we need to frob whatever configures the installed
system. hopefully it's just another pcitable text file, and hopefully
the one alex mentioned.
