Oops. I reinstalled xlogin yesterday because I changed the Makefiles
so that "make install" would install the man pages as well as the
binaries. I've fixed the Makefile so that it installs "Xsession" (not
Xlogin) as mode 555 rather than 444. I've (once again) recreated the
xlogin package with this change.

Ok, I edited the files in /mit/linux/pkg-lists and recreated the
packages. The command I use to create a package is "makepackage
packagename". Note: I have absolutely no problems with anyone
changing the "pkg-lists" files and recreating the packages. In fact,
I highly, highly encourage it. I haven't put enough time in to fine
tuning the packages. Others should feel free to.
By the way, I'm packaging "console" with "xlogin" rather than with
"dash" (even though console uses Xjets).
Also, I'm thinking of distributing the Slackware script "pkgtool" and
encouraging people to use that to install the packages. There may be
some minor problems with that. (For example, slackware "pkgtool" and
debian "pkg" both keep records in /var/adm/packages, but they keep
them in different formats, which could annoy people using debian.)
But I'll look into it.
Have a nice day.
