Today I tried to install Linux-Athena using the SIPB installer on my
home PC, which is networked via a cable modem with AT&T (formerly
MediaOne). Everything seems to go fine until I get to the part
where it looks like it's going to start loading packages. The screen
shows "Reading installation packages," but one of the alternate windows
shows the following error:

<4>:nfs: server sipb-nfs.mit.edu not responding, still trying.

The install hangs here forever. I can't get any other commands to work
at the bash prompt either.

What could be going wrong? Obviously my PC is finding the SIPB NFS
share. Does it restrict something to .mit.edu addresses only?
