The installer got as far as trying to start X, and just gave me a blank screen at that point (in spite of switching consoles, etc.). All I seemed to be able to do with it was to start again in text mode. We should probably document how to deal in this situation. Coming up after the install, the only obvious problem was the known network tries to start before pcmcia problem. We probably also want to document that putting ADDR=dhcp in your /etc/athena/rc.conf works, if you're registered for DHCP. -Camilla
