We had hoped that our installer would be able to support non-686
Kernels. This appears more difficult than originally anticipated. It
requires that we get IS to agree to include non-686 kernel updates
when they get updates.
This is particularly problematic for the Kernel shipped with 8.4.10
because Redhat no longer distributes that kernel. At least ghudson
and jweiss are aware of the problem. I don't know if they will have
time to fix it (we do have a SRPM) or if they would consider a locally
built package acceptable.
