Hi,

I recently installed openssh-2.1.1p4 on my linux machine. When I try to
scp to my machine I get a "scp: command not found". Looking at the FAQ
at the OpenSSH site, the cause seems to be that scp is NOT on the
default PATH.

Where is the default PATH set? I thought it was in /etc/profile, but
when I append /usr/local/bin to the PATH statement in this file nothing
happens.

Suggestions?

Nichols A. Romero
